GOG Needs the Participation of Its Membership…Can We Count on You??
On Friday, January 16, 2004, during the semi-annual meeting in Atlanta, Georgia,
GOG will host its first-ever Silent Auction. Auction proceeds will help fund the
upcoming special projects associated with research activities. Donated items will
appear on our website prior to the auction. Information on the items and the
donor will appear. Donated items will be displayed outside the registration
Thursday and Friday. Interested members and guests will enter the auction area
and be issued a catalog with a bidder number. Bidders will enter their bid on
the bidder sheet. The evening of the auction, the table closings will be posted
and participants will be given the opportunity to increase their bid, prior to
the table closing. The highest bidder at the time of closing will be awarded the item.
GOG NEEDS YOUR PARTICIPATION in donating an item to the auction. Items
should be valued at $100 or more and without company logos. All contributions
received before December 31, 2003, will be listed in the evening's program.

GOG hopes that this will be a fun-filled event and will be an enjoyable evening
for all. The auction will be held during the Friday night reception, so join
us for food, beverage, music and good old-fashioned FUN!
