What is a GOG
Semi-annual Meeting?
GOG meetings are held
semi-annually. The objective of the meetings are to inform
participants as to the most current state of clinical and basic
research in gynecologic oncology, particularly, but not
exclusively as it relates to clinical field trials by:

progress reports
of recent completed GOG studies, cancer center activities,
work of other groups and efforts of individual investigators
-
status update of
current trials (group or non-group)
-
projections of
future clinical programs to diagnose, treat and/or prevent
cancer
The meetings also
provide lecture type forums of reports from experts from many
fields that may relate to better research or patient management.
Who can attend a GOG
Meeting?
GOG meetings are open to all GOG members and non-members.
When is GOG Meeting information available on the GOG public
website?
For
the January meetings, information is available in November. For
the July meetings, information is available in May.
How
much does it cost to attend a GOG Meeting?
Registration fees for

Is there computer access available at the GOG Meetings?
Yes,
there is an Information Resource room available to attendees of
the GOG meeting where you can check email, print documents, send
and receive faxes, access the web, etc.
How do I register for a GOG Meeting and/or Symposium?
Pre-registration is available on the GOG website up to two
months in advance. On-site registration is also available if you
miss the pre-registration deadline.
When is the
pre-registration deadline?
For the January meetings
the deadline for pre-registration is in December.
For
the July meetings the deadline for pre-registration is in June.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for GOG Meetings?
In
the event of a cancellation, the GOG must receive notification
in writing before the scheduled meeting.
Payment Refund/Cancellation Policy:
Full
refunds, less $25.00 Processing Fee for registrant will be
granted for cancellations received in writing prior to December
30 for the January Meeting, and prior to July 1 for the July
Meeting. No refunds will be granted after these dates, but
registration substitutions may be made in writing without
penalty. No Refunds will be given to registrants who do
not attend without prior cancellation notice.
