The Gynecologic Oncology Group ("GOG") is a national organization dedicated to clinical research in the field of gynecologic cancer. It is one of the cooperative clinical trial research groups funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The purpose and mission of the GOG is to improve and expand the treatment of gynecologic cancer. These goals are met through an exchange of information on programs of study, teaching methods and research activities among gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurse oncologists, pathologists, and basic scientists.

 

What is the Industry Collaboration Team?

 

The ICT is a new and exciting membership program designed and developed by the GOG to foster and facilitate a two-way communication channel between Industry and the GOG. The GOG strives to build a strong partnership with industry in order to serve as their research and collaboration partner, paving the way for advancement in the field of Gynecologic Oncology.

Specifically, the ICT:

·         Provides for a more rapid accumulation of information for pooling knowledge by multidiscipline organizations and industry.

·         Fosters interaction between leaders in oncology and industry.

·         Provides visibility to market products and services to professionals in decision-makings roles.

·         Provides an opportunity to extend new information to attendees of new and improving technologies, equipment, products, and services.

·         Complementary welcome event with GOG Leadership.

·         Three corporate representatives from each organization will give your organization greater exposure. 

·         Roster mailing labels upon request.

·         Corporate information with company profile displayed under the “ICT” link on the GOG website. This allows a direct link with your corporation.

·         Opportunity to host your own Advisory Board during the GOG Functions.
