Joint GOG-Foundation (GOG) and European Network of Gynaecological Oncological Trial Groups (ENGOT) clinical trials guidance for operations with industry partners
Highlights
- Updated joint GOG Foundation and the European Network of Gynaecological Oncological Trial Groups (GOG-ENGOT) publication and authorship guidelines (Version 2.0), representing a comprehensive revision of the authorship provisions of the 2019 co-branded trial framework, developed and approved by the GOG/ENGOT Liaison Committee.
- Formalization of the Third-Party Group designation, establishing defined authorship rights and accrual-based allocation rules for cooperative groups and consortia beyond GOG and ENGOT participating in co-branded gynecologic oncology trials.
- Granular, accrual-proportional authorship calculation and positioning rules for primary analyses, secondary endpoint manuscripts, ancillary and translational research projects, and conference presentations, with explicit provisions to prevent accrual demotivation.
- Designation of the GOG/ENGOT Liaison Committee as the arbiter for provisional queries and deviations from these guidelines.
